IMPORTANT NOTES

POWER SUPPLY

Please note that this product can use 9V batteries only or MINI USB as power supply.
When disconnecting the USB from the power outlet, grasp the plug itself; never pull on the cord.
If the unit is to remain unused for an extended period of time, unplug the power cord.

PLACEMENT

Do not subject the unit to temperature extremes (eg., direct sunlight in an enclosed vehicle).
Avoid using or storing the unit in dusty or humid areas, or areas that are subject to high levels of
vibration.
Using the unit near power amplifiers (or other equipment containing large power transformers) may
induce hum.

MAINTENANCE

For everyday cleaning wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth or one that has been slightly dampened with
water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Afterwards, be sure to wipe the unit
thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth. Never use benzene, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid
the possibility of discoloration and/or deformation.

ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS

When the following condition occurs, please turn off the power immediately and remove the batteries
USB from electric outlet.

When the batteries or USB have been damaged; smoke or emitted an odor.
Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled onto the unit; or The unit has been exposed to
rain(or otherwise has become wet);or The unit does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a
marked change in performance.

NOTES CONCERNING BATTERIES 

The life of the supplied batteries may be limited, since its   primary purpose was to enable testing. 
When installing or replacing batteries, always turn this unit off  and disconnect any other devices

  you may have connected. This way, you can prevent malfunction and damage. 

If used improperly, batteries or rechargeable batteries may explode or leak and cause damage  or 

injury.  In the interest of  safety, please read and observe the following precautions. 

 

Carefully follow the installation instructions for batteries, and  make sure you observe the

 correct polarity. 

 

Remove the batteries whenever the unit is to remain unused  for an extended period of time. 
Used batteries must be disposed of in compliance with

 

whatever regulations for their safe 

disposal that may be  observed in the region in which you live.
