3. Glass Doors
• Glass doors are optional.
• Refer to Figure 3.3 for how to properly use them.
1. Flue Damper
The flue damper must be in the fully opened position
(handle all the way to the right) during operation of the
fireplace.
Before lighting the fireplace, verify fully open position
by looking up from the inside of the fireplace.

4. Fan Kit
• Fan kit is optional.
• Refer to instructions included with fan kit.
Refer to Figure 3.2 for location and operation of control.
The outside air kit supplies some combustion air for
your fireplace. Move handle to left to open. It may help
reduce the effects of negative air pressure.
Close the inlet to prevent cold drafts when the fireplace
is not being used. Move handle right to close.
2. Outside Air (Optional)
CAUTION!
Outside air control handle may be warm.
Adjust before lighting fire.
