INSTALLATION
1. Examine the firebox and clear any debris from the base
and corners. Remaining debris may prevent correct fit
up of refractory. See Figure 1.
2. Remove the grate / burner assembly by removing the
screws that fasten the grate to the bottom of the fire
-
box. See Figure 1. Pull the grate / burner assembly
towards you so that it disengages from the orifice on
the back wall and place the entire grate / burner as
-
sembly in a safe place.
CAUTION! Risk of Cuts or Abrasions. Wear protective
gloves and safety glasses during installation.
NOTICE: Handle refractory panels with care. Refractory
may chip or crack if dropped or impacted.
SPECIAL TOOLS
Screw gun equipped with 1/4 in. socket
1/4 in. wrench or socket
Phillips screwdriver bit for screw gun
