Glossary
Route - Trajectory calculated on the basis
of given destination, via points, types of
vehicles, type of roads etc. Start of the
route is ALWAYS current GPS position.
System can have only one route at a time.
Trip - Journey calculated using start loca-
tion, via points and destination, types of
vehicles and other settings. Arbitrary
numbers of trips can be recorded and
retrieved for later use and guidance.
Via point - Location on the route or trip
between GPS position or start and desti-
nation.
POI - Point of Interest.
Click on the map - Displays street name
and brings up context menu.
Context Menu Description
Navigate to - Calculates the route from
instant GPS position to the selected point
and starts guidance
Find nearest POI - Starts the search for
POIs near selected point
Save location- Saves the selected point
in favorites
Trip Planning
Add a destination - Sets the point as
destination
Add a via point - Sets a point as via point
Set as start - Sets the point as the start
point of the trip
NOTICE
User can mute/adjust the navigation
volume via MENU' sound settings,
refer section “Settings”.
