ECU MONITORING: ZFC NON PLAUSIBILITY ERROR
DTC INFORMATION
PROBABLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
The maximum plausible energising time of the ZFC results,
depending on the rail pressure is compared with a
predetermined curve and is within the range
The minimum energizing time is also compared with a
predetermined curve and is within the range
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
The actual value is out of range of value given in the curves
DTC REACTIONS
Engine Check lamp continuosly ON
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
Injector worn/ stuck
Faulty EMS ECU
Corrective Action –
1. Check for injector stuck or worn ( thru fuel leak off test).If the injectors found leaky ,replace with new
one
2. Using diagnostic tester clear the DTC.
3. Turn ignition OFF/ON
4. Check for the DTC . If the DTC still exists , repeat the steps 2 and 3 for 3 times
5. If DTC still exists replace the EMS ECU with a new one
