Note:
Ensure the AC mains lead is connected to the
power input socket (

switch the unit on yet.
First, clean and/or protect all equipment according to
hospital procedure (see page 76 for information on
cleaning and sterilising).
a. Connection
Once the patient is anaesthetised, the electrodes may
be inserted into the relevant locations on the patient.
Plug the electrodes into the corresponding sockets on
the pre-amplifier (

Plug the green reference electrode/s into either green
socket (

Plug the pre-amplifier lead (

socket on the rear of the screen (

Attach the pre-amplifier to the side rail of the operating
table using the mounting clip.
Plug one end of the stimulator pod lead into the socket
on the stimulator pod (
