Interlocks
The multi-function buttons* (Remote control coils) and interlock button (Standard Coil) behave as
trigger interlocks when using one of the central trigger methods (e.g. stimulator footswitch). Therefore,
at least one of the buttons must be engaged in order for the system to be triggered in this mode of
operation.
There is an automatic coil temperature interlock applied by the stimulator. When the maximum
temperature is reached, the coil temperature indicator* will be illuminated and the stimulator will return
to stopped mode. The coil should then be removed from the subject and allowed to cool.

Error Codes

Generation Coils will display the appropriate error code on its display. (See Appendix A
for a
list of the error codes for faults relating directly to the operation of the 2
nd
Generation Coils).
