INSTALLING THE CUTTING DEPTH 

ADJUSTMENT HANDWHEEL

1.  Position the handwheel on the arbor. See Figure 3.

2.  Slide the 

FLAT WASHER (A)

 onto the arbor and secure it 

in place with the 

LOCK KNOB (B)

.

INSTALLING THE LIFT HOOKS

1.  If needed, install the lift hooks on top of the machine. See 

Figure 4.

INSTALLING TABLE ROLLER ADJUSTMENT 

LEVER

1.  Tighten the lever handle onto the shaft. Then tighten the 

LEVER ASSEMBLY (C)

 into the 

BRACKET (D). 

See Figure 5.

INSTALLING THE DUST CHUTE

1.  Place the dust chute against the opening in the back of the 

machine.

2.  Align the 

MOUNTING HOLES (E)

 in the dust chute with 

the corresponding holes in the machine. Secure the chute 
with the six 

FLANGE BOLTS (F).

 Use a 10 mm wrench. See 

Figure 6.

CONNECTING TO A DUST COLLECTOR

The dust chute connects to a 5" hose. Make sure to use 
appropriate sized hose and fittings (not included). Check that 
all connections are sealed tightly to help minimize airborne dust.

WARNING!

Before assembling the planer, make sure the 

power cord is unplugged and the switch is in 

the OFF position. Do not plug in or turn on 

the machine until you have fully assembled 

the machine.
