The Medical Device is manufactured in accordance
with the Directives and Norms in force for Medical
Devices. Since the device is powered by batteries
(the external power unit can be used only for re-
charging the batteries), there are no special pre-
cautions to observe when using it.
We recommend that you do not store the device
with fully dead batteries.
The batteries supplied last long and are without
memory effect, which means they can be recharged
by means of the adapter supplied, in any moment
(without having to remove them from the compart-
ment in which they are placed), even if they are not
fully dead.
For more detailed information on the batteries and on
how to replace them, carefully read pages 45
and 48.
Please be reminded that the batteries
and the whole device must be disposed
of separately when no longer functional, in accor-
dance with the norms of law in force.
For safety and reliability purposes,
exclusively use the battery charger
supplied with the device.
For any orders you may need to make, see the “Spa-
re parts” paragraph.
CAUTIONS
The device is guaranteed, provided that:
• The repairs are carried out by authorized
personnel or at our company premises;
• The electrical system in the work environment
is compliant with the safety norms in force;
• The identification label that bears the model,
the Serial Number (SN), and the bar code,
is intact (the same holds true for the labels
with the bar codes of the accessories); any
attempt to open the device entails termination
of the warranty;
• All the instructions contained in this manual
are followed.
An improper use of the device
and/or battery entails termination
of the warranty.
SPARE PARTS
The manufacturing company makes the spare parts
of the accessories supplied with the device availa-
ble. Therefore, for future orders, directly contact the
company or the authorized Retailers.
WARRANTY
The device and its accessories are
covered by a warranty of 24 months
for manufacturing flaws. The warranty does not
include the aesthetic parts and the consumption
material that is not prone to wear-out (except for
abnormal conditions of the manufacture), an also
any damages/faults caused by a clumsy/improper
use of the machine and/or the accessories.
Warning:
Failure to present the warranty certificate
implies its termination, if interventions
were to prove necessary on the device, they will be
responsibility of the user.
