Installing Electronics

The electronics for the MagneMover LITE transport system can be attached to the transport 
system stands or positioned elsewhere in the facility in an appropriate location.

Installing Electronics on the Transport System

The MagneMover LITE motor stands are designed to accept mounting of all the electronic 
components of the transport system (Node Controllers, network switches, and power sup-
plies).

Mounting Node Controller LITEs

The Node Controller LITE should be located on the transport system stand close to the Nodes 
it is responsible for to minimize the length of all wiring. The controller may be oriented in any 
direction required ensuring the service and exclusion zones identified in 

Figure 4-21 on 

page 4-23

 are maintained.

Typical mounting methods are vertically on one of the transport system legs or horizontally 
between two parallel track sections as shown in 

Figure 5-14

.
