To activate the panic feature:
Depress and hold the LOCK/UNLOCK/PANIC button for more than 3 seconds.
1. The chirper or horn will begin sounding when the panic feature is activated.
2. On your remote transmitter press the LOCK/UNLOCK/PANIC button to turn off the panic
feature.
Note: If you do not turn off the panic feature with the transmitter, the alarm will sound
for 60 seconds.
Remote Panic
Remote Trunk/Hatch Release
If this option is installed it will allow your PL10 to activate your existing interior lighting system.
Every time the system is unlocked, the PL10 will turn ON your interior lighting system. This will
provide added security when approaching your vehicle in a dark environment.
Operation:
1. Exit the vehicle and the interior lighting is off.
2. Lock then unlock the PL10 system. Upon unlocking, the interior lighting system will become
illuminated. From that point, the interior lighting system will remain illuminated for a period of
30 seconds or until the ignition key is turned on whichever occurs first.

Installing this will allow the remote transmitter supplied
with your security system to open your vehicles trunk or
rear hatch. Pressing the Channel 2 button on the
transmitter for 3 seconds will open the existing power
trunk/hatch release mechanism.
Note: Vehicles that are not factory equipped with an
electronic trunk release system will require additional parts
than a vehicle with a factory installed trunk release system.
