  What’s in the box?

  Where to put your Bluetooth speaker
 

It is important that you consider carefully in advance where  

 

your product will be situated and make sure that it is:

    * on a flat and stable surface
    * within 1�4 metres of a power socket 
    * away from bright sunlight or heat sources, such as a radiator
    * not in a humid or very damp place such as a bathroom

  Setting Up

1�   Connect the mains power lead into the socket on the back of 

the Bluetooth speaker and plug the power adaptor into the 
mains power wall socket and switch on�   

2�   The 

 button on the top of the Bluetooth speaker will 

slowly flash red and blue alternately, confirming that the 
product is now in Standby mode�

3�   Press and release the 

 button to power on the product�  

The 

 button will now flash blue quickly and will be in 

Bluetooth pairing mode� 

  

Note: Your Bluetooth speaker will remain in Bluetooth pairing 
mode for 3 minutes�  If a successful Bluetooth connection is 
not made within this time, the speaker will exit pairing mode 
and the 

 button will now flash blue slowly�   Press and 

release the 

 button to restart pairing mode� 

4�    On the device that you would like to connect to your 

Bluetooth speaker (e�g� iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/
Computer), turn on Bluetooth connectivity and ensure that it 
is ‘discoverable’�   

 

 Note: If necessary, refer to the instructions for your device to 
add or set up Bluetooth)

5�   Select to ‘Add new device’, if necessary� 
 

 Note: Some products will automatically search for a new 
device and so the ‘Add new device’ option is not available� 

6�    When found, your Bluetooth speaker will be displayed as 

‘Audio device’ or ‘MBX2’�  Select the device name to begin 
pairing�
