Highlight
PM3USBaseMap.txt
and tap the
OK
button. The base map will install
automatically. Upon completion, tap the
OK
button on the message screen saying:
“Loading Success….”

Perform a cold reset of the GPS receiver by going to the
Utilities
screen and running
GPSReset
.

Power-cycle the receiver and re-initialize the receiver to your location, by running
GPSInit
. It will take approximately 30 seconds to obtain a fix, another 13 minutes to
record a complete GPS almanac and approximately 30 minutes to record a complete
WAAS/EGNOS almanac. You will be able to track GPS/WAAS satellites and record
data during this period.
12.
Turn off the ProMark3 receiver by simultaneously depressing the ESC, ENTER and
power buttons.
