Make sure there is enough lateral clearance when driving
around obstacles.

Make sure the maximum total weights that are allowed for
the trailer and the coupled load are not exceeded.
z
Make sure that trailers drawn on tow bars are only
attached with the appropriate trailer coupling.

With coupled load, drive uphill with the suspended load up
front if possible (pushing).
z
Drive downhill with the tractor up front.
If, for operational reasons, it is necessary to drive on inclines
in other directions, always observe the following instructions.
z
Avoid excessive accelerating and braking.
z Lift the fifth wheel coupling only as far as it is absolutely
necessary in order to ensure sufficient ground clearance.
z Take necessary technical precautions in difficult situations;
for example, by adding extra weight to the front axis or
using a telescopic fifth wheel.
