Measuring:
Measure the height from floor to upper
part of the metal hooks. Hold the hook
firmly onto the wall and make sure that
it is 100% vertical. Using a pencil, mark
the drill spot by drawing a ring in each
of the 4 holes of the hook’s mounting
plate.
3) Drilling:
Please choose the right drill, depending
on which material you are going to drill
into. There are four 5mm wall plugs in-
cluded, which require a 5mm stone drill.
Drill 40 – 50 mm deep without using
extensive force. Check if the hole is deep
enough by inserting a wall plug. The
wall plug must be 100% level with the
wall. For other materials, such as wood
or ceramic plates, other screws and wall
plugs might be needed. Seek advice
from a hardware store if you are not
sure whether you have the right tools.
4) Mounting:
Insert the wall plugs in the holes and
place the screws in the 4 holes of the
hook’s mounting plate. Screw in all 4
screws by hand until a screwdriver is
needed. Keep the hook 100% over
the holes and make sure that the hook
is 100% vertical while fastening the
screws successively without tightening
the screws too hard. Step back or use
a spirit level to check whether the hook
is vertical.
5) Tightening:
Tighten the screws until the mounting
plate is tight against the wall.
If you have difficulties inserting the
housing onto the hook due to an une-
ven wall, you can loosen the two upper
screws 1/4 turn at a time until it fits.
6) Fitting the housing onto the hook:
Place the groove on the backside of the
housing over the upper part of the hook.
Slowly slide it down along the hook’s
upper leg until the housing clicks into
the hook’s upper peg. On the last 5 mm,
some resistance can be felt and a bit of
force might be needed to click the peg
into place. Looking inside the housing,
the peg should be visible at the upper
part of the back of the housing.
Your hooks should now be properly installed.
