The intensity and amount of mist may vary, but this is not unusual and should not be considered
as a fault. Factors that may affect this include water type, humidity, temperature, air currents etc.
Problem
No Mist or
mist volume
significantly
reduced.
Unit will not
switch on
Water is
leaking from
the unit
Possible Cause
Power supply is not
connected.
Water is lower than the water
level sensor.
Water is exceeding the max
water level line.
There may be a build-up of oil
on the ceramic disc.
Mist outlet is blocked.
There is insufficient water in
the reservoir.
The power cable may not be
connected properly.
The cover is not positioned
correctly.
The unit has been tipped or
knocked over.
The temperature is low
and/or there is high humidity.
Solution
Plug in the power adaptor and press the ON/OFF
button on the base.
Refill the reservoir with ordinary tap water. Take
care not to fill past the max water level line.
Carefully pour out excess water via the water drain
side.
Clean the ceramic disc with water and a clean cloth.
Clean the mist outlet by thoroughly cleaning the
inside of the cover with clean water. Ensure the
cover is aligned correctly and not blocking
the mist.
Carefully fill the reservoir with water to the max
water level. Do not overfill.
Disconnect the cable and try connecting properly.
Remove the cover and replace correctly, allowing
the mist to release correctly.
Follow the accidental leakage instructions.
Under these conditions, mist can sometimes
condense into water droplets.
