Chapter 4: ActionScript Enhancements for Flash Lite 1.1
Platform capabilities and variables
The following variables are used to specify whether certain capabilities are available in Flash Lite,
the device, the host application, or Flash Player.
_capCompoundSound
The
_capCompoundSound
variable indicates whether Flash Lite can process compound sound
data. If so, this variable is defined and has a value of 1; if not, this variable is undefined.
Example
mVarValue = _capCompoundSound;
_capEmail
The
_capEMail
variable indicates whether Flash Lite can send e-mail messages by means of the
GetURL()
ActionScript command. If so, this variable is defined and has a value of 1; if not, this
variable is undefined.
Example
myVarValue = _capEmail;
_capMMS
The
_capMMS
variable indicates whether Flash Lite can send MMS messages by using the
GetURL()
ActionScript command. If so, this variable is defined and has a value of 1; if not, this
variable is undefined.

_capSMS
The
_capSMS
variable indicates whether Flash Lite can send SMS messages by using the
GetURL()
ActionScript command. If so, this variable is defined and has a value of 1; if not, this
variable is undefined.

_capStreamSound
The
_capStreamSound
variable indicates whether the device can playing streaming
(synchronized) sound. If so, this variable is defined and has a value of 1; if not, this variable is
undefined.
