1. Read and understand the Important Safety Instructions on page 2.
2. Make all initial connections with the power switches OFF on all equipment. Make sure the
monitor’s volume control is all the way down.
3. Connect an 1/8" to dual RCA (or 1/4") cable from the output of a computer to the inputs
on the rear panel of the monitor.
4. Connect black (–) and red (+) speaker wires from the powered monitor’s ± spring clips
to the passive monitor’s ± spring clips.
5. Plug the affixed line cord into an AC outlet.
The monitor may accept the appropriate
voltage as indicated on the back panel.
6. Turn the computer on.
7. Turn the CR-X monitor on.
[Rear panel power switch].
8. Play an audio file and slowly turn the front panel volume control to a comfortable listening
level.
