GASEOUS EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM
WARRANTY FEDERAL EMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The following engine components are covered by the supplemental emissions control
system warranty policy as required by the Federal emissions regulations.
Items Not Covered by the Emission Control
Systems Warranty
•
Malfunctions caused by misuse, improper adjustments, modification, alteration,
tampering, disconnection, improper or inadequate maintenance.
•
Damage resulting from accident, acts of nature or other events beyond the control
of MACK Trucks, Inc.
•
Inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, or commercial loss.
•
Any vehicle on which the odometer has been changed so that mileage cannot
be readily determined.
The repair or replacement of defective parts under this warranty will be made without
charge for parts and, if made at the manufacturer’s factory, Subsidiary, or authorized
Distributor’s place of business, without charge for labor.
THIS WARRANTY IS MADE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, AND OF ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF
THE MANUFACTURER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION OF THE
FOREGOING, CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGE.
