Greasing Procedure
CAUTION
Stop engine, and remove key from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or even
a pet could engage an idling machine.
1. Open driveshields at ends of mower conditioner to access greasing points. Refer to
2. Use only recommended lubricants speci

ed in this manual. Refer to
4.3.1 Recommended Lubricants, page 106

3. Wipe grease
fi
tting with a clean cloth before greasing to avoid injecting dirt and grit.
4. Inject grease through
fi
tting with grease gun until grease over
fl
ows
fi
tting, except where noted.
5. Leave excess grease on
fi
tting to keep out dirt.
6. Replace any loose or broken
fi
ttings immediately.
7. If
fi
tting will NOT take grease, remove and clean thoroughly. Also clean lubricant passageway. Replace
fi
tting
if necessary.
8. Use clean High Temperature Extreme Pressure grease only.
