3.5.1 Detaching

M1 Series Windrower
WARNING
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the key
from the ignition before leaving the operator

s seat for any reason.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.

1. Start the engine, and press switch (A) to raise the header to
the maximum height.
2. Stop the engine, and remove the key.

3. Disengage safety props on both lift cylinders as follows:
NOTE:
If safety prop will not disengage, raise header to release
the prop.
a. Turn lever (A) away from header to raise safety prop
until lever locks into vertical position.
b. Repeat for opposite cylinder.
4. Open left side platform. For instructions, refer to the windrower operator
