Lubrication

WARNING

To avoid personal injury, before servicing header or opening drive covers, refer to .

Lubricate the machine after every 100 hours of operation.

Log hours of operation and use the maintenance schedule provided to keep a record of scheduled maintenance.

5.3.1

Greasing Procedure

WARNING

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key
before making adjustments to machine.

Use the recommended lubricants specified in the inside back cover of this manual.

Wipe grease fitting with a clean cloth before greasing to avoid injecting dirt and grit.

Inject grease through fitting with grease gun until grease overflows fitting, except where noted.

Leave excess grease on fitting to keep out dirt.

Replace any loose or broken fittings immediately.

If fitting will not take grease, remove and clean thoroughly. Also clean lubricant passageway. Replace fitting if
necessary.
