Removing Return Oil Filter
The return oil filter will be need to be removed before it can be replaced.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator
’
s seat for any reason.
1.
Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
2.
Move the platform on the left cab-forward side of the machine to the open position. For instructions, refer to

3.
Clean around the head of filter (A).
4.
Place a container beneath filter (A) to collect any oil that
may leak out.
5.
Unscrew filter (A) using a filter wrench.
6.
Dispose of the used oil and the filter in accordance with
local legislation.

7.
Remove gasket (C) from groove (B) in filter head (A).
NOTE:
The filter head has been removed from the illustration for
the sake of clarity.
NOTE:
Filter (D) is shown for context.
Installing Return Oil Filter
Once the old return oil filter and O-ring have been removed, the new filter and gasket can be installed.
