6. Refer to the following to directly connect the hydraulic
hoses to the windrower as shown:
a. Use a clean rag to remove dirt and moisture from
the couplers.
b. Attach the disc pressure hose (A) to

tting on frame
and torque to 205–226 N

m (151–167 ft

lbf).
c. Connect the disc return hose (B) to
fi
tting on frame
and torque to 205–226 N
·
m (151–167 ft
·
lbf).
d. Connect the case drain hose (C) to
fi
tting on frame
and tighten.
e. Connect the electrical harness to receptacle (D).
NOTE:
Ensure the hydraulic hoses have suf
fi
cient slack
to clear the multicoupler (E) without coming into
contact with it. If necessary, increase slack
in the hoses by loosening the hose holder at
the windrower frame and moving the hoses as
required.

Detaching R85 16-Foot Header
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove
the key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
1. Start the engine, and press switch (A) to raise the
header to the maximum height.
2. Stop the engine and remove key from ignition.
