Setting Knife Speed
CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
1.
Start the engine. Refer to
.
2.
Move the throttle to adjust the engine speed to IDLE.
3.
Set the Intermediate Speed Control (ISC) to OFF. Refer to
4 Cab Display Module (CDM), page 153
4.
Engage the header drive switch (A), and pull up on the
black ring at the base of the switch.
NOTE:
A slight delay between activating the header
drive switch and achieving operating speed
is normal.
5.
Run the engine at maximum rpm.
NOTE:
To disengage the header drive, push down the
header drive switch (A).
