Checking Roll Gap
Factory setting should be 20 mm (3/4 in.) or at 1.5 line
on gauge (A). Gauge readings should be the same at both
ends of the roll. If roll gap requires adjusting, refer to
Figure 3.69: Roll Gap Gauge

Checking Roll Timing
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected
starup of the machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key from the ignition before leaving the
operator’s seat for any reason.
To check the roll timing, follow these steps:
1.
Lower header to ground, shut down windrower, and
remove key.
2.
Remove wing nut (A) and remove tool (B) from panel
at right-hand end of conditioner.
