NOTE
Plastic endshields are subject to
expansion or contraction depending on
large temperature variations. Latch pin
can be adjusted to compensate for
dimensional changes.
The endshield should fit snugly onto the
endsheet. If not, then adjust as follows:
a. Remove end shield.
b. Loosen bolts (A) and adjust the pin assembly
(B) to achieve the gap ‘X’ between the front end
of the shield and the header frame in
accordance with the following chart.

c. Loosen bolts (C) and adjust the latch (D) to
reposition the shield to achieve a snug fit
between the aft end of the shield and header
frame.
