Cleaning and Applying Probe Covers

Before and after each use, clean the thermometer probe
(area that extends about 2” from the tip) with a soft cloth and
isopropyl alcohol diluted with water, or wash with COLD
soapy water.
•
DO NOT submerse in any solution or let water penetrate the
thermometer. The unit is not waterproof/water resistant.
•
Apply a disposable probe cover to the tip of a clean, dry ther-
mometer.

Your unit has 4 modes:
1) Oral
2)
Axillary (under the arm)
3) Rectal
4) All
Purpose
Note: Default is set at “Oral” (the “head” will flash upon first turning the unit on).
