the freezer compartment

• This compartment is designed for long-term storage of food. You

could store food up to three months.

• The maximum storage period of food varies and should not ex-

ceed the recommended storage period. Instructions regarding the
care of frozen foods should be followed when defrosting the
freezer.

• Pre-packed commercially frozen food can be stored in the freezer

following the manufacturer’s directions for a three star frozen
food storage compartment or home freezer.

• Place frozen food into the freezer as quickly as possible after pur-

chase. Carefully follow instructions regarding maximum storage
period.

• The freezer door is susceptible of breaking due to excessive ice

build up. Be sure to defrost the unit when the ice reaches 5 to 10
mm thick.

• A storage basket is provided to organize the available space. To

reach other packages in the freezer, just slide the basket from side
to side, or lift it out.

• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the

built-in structure, clear of obstructions.

• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the

defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manu-
facturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compart-

ments of the appliance, unless they are recommended by the
manufacturer.

• Unplug the unit after use and before carrying out any user main-

tenance job on it.

• Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play

with the appliance.
