Problem Possible solution
Interior light does
not turn on
• Make sure the freezer is plugged to power.
• The light bulb is damaged.
The freezer door
can not be properly
closed
• The door is st u ck by f o od pa ckages.
• T oo much foo d pa ckages inside the freeze r.
• Freezer is tilted.
Loud noise • Food packages are not level.
• Freezer is not leveled.
Normal operation conditions
• The freezer compartment m a y emit
heat during operation especially
during summer. This is caused by
the radiation of the condenser and
is normal.
• Condensation may be noticed on
the exterior surfaces of cabinet and
door seals, when the ambient hu-
midity is high. This is normal. Wipe
the condensation using a soft cloth.
• A irflow s ound. Refrigerant c irculat -
ing through the refrigerant lines will
produce gurg li ng and grun t s. Th is is
normal and will not affect the cool -
ing performance of the appliance.
• Buzzing sound. This will be gener-
ated by the compressor running,
specially when starting and turning
off.
• Clatter. The solenoid valve or elec -
tri c s witch valve will c latter which is
normal and does not affect oper a-
tion of the freezer.
