Chapter 2: Configuring the ER Server
Administrator Console
The Administrator console is used for configuring and main-
taining the ER Server. Settings made in the Administrator
console affect the Client reporting application. The Adminis-
trator console includes three menus: Network, Server, and
Database. Each menu contains options from which you
make selections to access screens used for configuring
your Server.
TIP
: When making a complete configuration of the Server, M86
Security recommends you navigate from left to right (Network to
Server to Database) in choosing your menu options.
Network Menu
The Network pull-down menu includes options for setting up
and maintaining components to be used on the Server’s
network. These options are: Box Mode, Administrators, and
Lockouts.
