5.1 

SDRAM SELECTION 

 

 

The board comes with a 32 MByte external SDRAM which is soldered on the board but by default 

disconnected from the RA6M3. In order to connect this device, multiple Shunts must be removed and 

soldered to switch from the 

Default

 board to the 

SDRAM Ready

 version. The following sections will 

describe you how to carry this out step by step. 

Figure 29

 shows you where to quickly find all the shunts 

related to the SDRAM.
