1. Remove the four mounting screws that secure the bottom half of the boiler to the top
half as seen in Fig. 14.
2. Remove the four screws securing the smoke unit inside the shell as seen in Fig. 15.
3. With the board free of the
mounting screws, slide the
assembly toward the center of
the boiler as seen in Fig. 15.
4. Once the unit is freed, remove
the inspection cover (Fig. 16).
Inspect the wick; if it is darkly
discolored and hard, it should be
replaced.

Remove screws to separate the two-
piece boiler.
