Safety Tips
IMPIRTANT INSTEUCTUONS PERTAINING TO RISK OF FIRE, ELECTIRC SHOCK, OR INJURY
TO PERSONS WARNING: To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be
observed, including the following.

READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS and all the important notices on the
appliance before using the pump. Failure to do so may result in damage this
appliance.

DANGER
To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is
employed in the use of this product. In each of the following situations, do not
attempt to catty out repairs yourself; return the pump to an authorized service
facility for repair if it is still under warranty or discard the appliance.
a)
If the pump shows any sign of abnormal water leakage, disconnect the power
supply cable and remove the pump from the water.
b)
Examine the appliance carefully after installation. It should not be plugged in if
there is any water present on parts that are not intended to be wet.
c)
Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged electrical cable or plug, if it is
malfunctioning or if it is dropper od damaged in any manner. The power cable of
this appliance cannot be replaced: if the cable is damaged, the appliance should
be discarded. Never cut the cable.
d)
The electrical outlet should always be above the level of the appliance. If the plug
or outlet does get wet, DO NOT unplug the electrical cable. Disconnect the fuse
or circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance, then unplug and examine
for the presence of water in the outlet.
