Before installing the hood, connect it to the mains supply (230 V ~ 50 Hz) to check
that the lighting and the motor work properly. The hood installation location
sho-uld provide easy access to an electrical outlet for emergency unplugging and
cutting off power to the appliance.
A minimum of two people recommended for hood installation.
REMARKS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

Do not remove any protective fi lm or paper from the hood before the
instal-lation is complete.

The hood must be installed at a distance of at least

5 cm above the
cooking plate of an electrical device, and at least
7
5 cm above the cooking
plate of
a gas device. The distance is measured between the surface
supporting the
cooking utensils on the cooking plate and the lowest part of
the cooker
hood. If a greater distance is specifi ed in the instructions for
installing gas
devices, this must be taken into account.
