Remaining risks

There will still be residual risks even when the device 
is used according to the instructions and under 
observation of all of the safety notes in this set of 
operating instructions:

• Touching the tool in the uncovered section.
• Reaching into the operating tool.
• Kickback from work pieces and work piece 

parts.

Using for the first time

Fitting the saw blade

– Pull the locking sleeve (14) backwards and hold.
– Place the saw blade (4) as far as it will go into the 

holder.

– Release the locking sleeve (14).
– Ensure that the blade is securely fitted into 

place.

Affixing the extraction strut

– Fit the extraction strut (15) into the opening (13) 

as shown.

Operation

Check before switching on!

Check to make sure the unit is in a safe operating 
condition:

– Check to make sure there are no visible defects.
– Check to make sure all unit components are cor-

rectly mounted.

Switching on and off

– Switching on: Press the On/Off button (8).
– Switching off: Release the On/Off switch.
– Permanent operation: Press the locking button 

with the On/Off switch (9) held down.

– Set the required stroke rate with the rotating reg-

ulator (1).

Wear goggles when working with the de-
vice.

Wear ear defenders when working with the 
device.

When working with tools that cause con-
siderable dust, wear a dust protection 
mask.

Do 

not

 wear protective gloves when work-

ing with the device.

Wear tight fitting clothes when working 
with the device.

If you have long hair, cover or wear a hair 
net.

WARNING! Risk of death through elec-
tric shock! 

The use of this variant outside 

Switzerland is not permissible for safety 
reasons, as this poses a risk of electric 
shock or fire.
The variant of the product sold in Switzer-
land may only be used in Switzerland, as it 
is equipped with a Swiss plug.
You can identify the variant by means of the 
item number on the product (the instruc-
tions always contain

DANGER! Risk of injury! 

Pull out the 

power plug before conducting any mainte-
nance work on the device.
Shortly after sawing, the saw blade may be 
very hot. Risk of burning! Allow a hot blade 
to cool down. Never clean a hot saw blade 
with flammable liquids.
Even a saw blade which is at a standstill 
can still cut! Always wear gloves when 
replacing the saw blade.
