4. Each Keypad terminal will accept up to two 1.0 mm

(#18 AWG) wires.

Connect two 1.0 mm

(#18 AWG) wires to terminals 1 and

2 of the Keypad’s terminal block.

Connect two 1.0 mm

(#18 AWG) shielded, twisted pair

wires to terminals 3 and 4 of the Keypad’s terminal block.

Installation

Keypad circuits are classified as Class 2 circuits (U.S.A.) and
PELV circuits (IEC). When installing and wiring to these
Keypads, follow all applicable national and/or local wiring
regulations.

Warning:

Always turn Off the circuit breaker or

remove the main fuse from the power line before
doing any work.

Failure to do so can result in

serious personal injury.

1. Turn power Off to all EDUs and power panels.

2. Mount standard German or UK backboxes (60 mm

measured centre to centre of mounting holes).

3. Strip insulation from wires so that 10 mm. (3/8 in) of bare

wire is exposed for 1.0 mm
