Ganging

Nova T  switches can be ganged without breaking
off side sections.  The Nova T  design also allows
for break-offs to conserve space.  See Table A or B
for the number of wallboxes you need.

When ganging any combination of small and large
controls, place all small controls at one end of gang,
all large controls at other end.

Note: When ganging with a NT-2000 control, side
sections should

not be removed on any control. See

the NT-2000 instruction sheet for appropriate wallbox
requirements.

* Note:  When ganging an even number of small controls without
removing side sections, you need an additional wallbox 3/4" from
the other wallbox(es).  Use a chase nipple as a spacer.  See
Figure E.

Cutting Plastic Faceplates
Some faceplates will need to be cut if removing side
sections of dimmers and not using a multigang
faceplate.

To cut faceplates:

1.

Position faceplate face down on soft cloth.

2.

Press firmly and score groove on back of
faceplate with razor-sharp knife.  Use vertical
side of groove to keep knife on straight course
(see Figure G).

3.

Bend section back and forth several times to
break it off.  Do not use pliers.

4.

Smooth edges by placing fine-grained sandpaper
on flat surface and rubbing edge of faceplate
over it a few times.  Hold faceplate steady as you
rub to keep edge true.
