ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

■ Hold power tools by insulated gripping surfaces whenever performing an
operation where the tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord .

Contact with a

“live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and may result in electric

shock to the operator .

■ Accessories must be rated for at least the speed recommended on the tool warning

label .

Wheels and other accessories running over rated speed can fly apart and cause

injury .

■ Always disconnect the polisher cord plug from the power circuit before changing

pads

.Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool

accidentally .

■ Always maintain a firm grip on the polisher handles with both hands to prevent

loss of control .

■ Do not operate the polisher without all guards and covers securely in place .
