9.2.2 Befestigung der Smartbox
Sie haben die Möglichkeit die Smartbox entweder mittels der Gummifüße
auf eine ebene Fläche zu stellen oder mit der beigefügten Smartbox-
halterung an eine ebene Fläche zu verschrauben (siehe Abbildung).
9.2.3 Prüfung der Betriebsbereitschaft
Die Komponenten des Kamerasystems sollten vorhanden und betriebsbereit
sein:
Kamerakopf
Das Frontglas des Kamerakopfes muss schmutzfrei gehalten werden und
kann bei Bedarf mit Isopropanol (70 %) gereinigt werden. Prüfen Sie das
Kamerakabel auf Kabelbrüche oder getrennte Kontakte. Diese können
durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder Überfahren mit anderen OP-
Geräten auf Rollen entstehen. Prüfen Sie den Einstellring für die
Fokussierung. Er sollte eng sitzen und sich drehen lassen, ohne zu haken.

• Attach the fiberoptic cable to the endoscope and turn-on the light source
with light intensity at low.
Focusing the image
• To focus the image, turn the optical focusing ring (12) on the camera head.
Minimizing the Moiree effect using fiberscopes
• Applying the Anti-Moiree version of the
Compact
Camera first adjust
focus ring (12) without fiberscope to get a sharpe picture of an object in
a distance of about 3 m. Then connect fiberscope with focus ring, focus
the fiberscope and turn fiberscope relatively to focus ring in order to opti-
mize the picture.
White balance
• In order to white balance the camera system, aim the endoscope at a
white object, such as a sterile gauze.
• Press combination button (13) at camera head for a short time (approx.
1- 2 sec.) and hold the endoscope focused to the white object. The image
will change to an accurate white. This procedure will allow the camera to
reproduce all colors naturally.
