Remove and retain one of the four M5 x 10 mm Pan
Head Ceiling Cover Screws and Split Washers in the
Ceiling Mounting Plate .
Loosen the remaining three M5 x 10 mm Pan Head
Ceiling Cover Screws and Split Washers (Figure 17) .
Unhook the Fan Motor Assembly from the Ceiling
Mounting Plate Hook and lift the Fan Motor Assembly
up to the Ceiling Mounting Plate .
Align and engage the Fan Motor Assembly slots with
the three Screw heads previously loosened by rotating
the Fan Motor Assembly to engage the Screw heads
and all three slots .
NOTE: Careful to capture both the M5 x 10 mm Pan
Head Ceiling Cover Screws and Split Washers on
the outer side of the Fan Motor Assembly.
Reinstall the previously removed M5 x 10 mm
Pan Head Ceiling Cover Screw and Split Washers
(Figure 17) .
Completely tighten all four M5 x 10 mm Pan Head
Ceiling Cover Screws and Split Washers .
A spare M5 x 10 mm Pan Head Ceiling Cover Screw
and Split Washer is supplied in parts bag, if needed .

Position the Ceiling Trim Ring over each of the
protruding M5 x 10 mm Pan Head Ceiling Cover
Screw Heads and rotate the Ceiling Trim Ring counter-
clockwise to secure (Figure 18) .

To avoid possible fire or shock, make sure that the
electrical wires are completely inside the outlet box
and not pinched between the ceiling mounting plate
and the fan motor housing assembly.
