Unpacking
After unpacking unit, inspect carefully for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts. Shipping
damage claim must be filed with carrier.
General Safety Information
• This fixture must be installed in accordance with all electrical and safety codes and
ordinances and the most recent National Electric Code (NEC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
• When portable fixtures are used outdoors, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal
injury.
• Only use outdoor extension cords that have three pronged grounded plugs and fit the unit’s plug.
• Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location portable fixtures.
• Only use extension cords designed for outdoor use; types SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A, STOW, STOW-A, SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A,
SJTW,SJTW-A, SJTOW, and SJTOW-A.
• Do not open the work light body. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Keep fixture away from children.
• Do not use heavy volatile fluids such as gasoline to clean the fixture.
• Do not use the fixture when the glass safety shield is missing.
• This unit is not intended or safe to use in locations with explosive or flammable environments.
• This fixture must be installed to a minimum 50mm thick wood surface.
Avoid looking directly at the light fixture as the brightness may cause damage to sensitive
eyes.
