Special Cube Setup: Wi-Fi + Audio

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Hardwiring a surveillance camera is always the best solution. Since it is not always possible, we present this guide
to wireless surveillance installations.

Based on our testing, we recommend no more than 2 cameras per dedicated access point, and there must be no
more than 2 streaming devices on the dedicated access point. If you opt for 1080p resolution, drop your bit rate to
2.5Mbps and use 15 fps or lower. For 720p resolution, drop your bit rate to 1.5Mbps and use 15 fps or lower.

Your Luma Wi-Fi Cube camera connection must be at 80% signal strength with -67dBm minimum to have reliable
streaming video.

Please use the table below as a guide to setup your Luma Wi-Fi Cube camera on a Wi-Fi network.

Audio Guide

Once your Wi-Fi cube is activated and on the network, you can set up audio with the built-in microphone.

The audio feature is used for general audible activity levels. It is not designed to capture specific conversations with
complete clarity. Audio clarity depends on the distance, volume, ambient noise, and audio configurations.

Setting Up Audio

Log in to the camera interface and click on the

Configuration

 icon.

Navigate to the

Video/Audio

. It opens at the Video tab.
