5.2.1  Enlarging the cable (for example 100m): 

Important: the original cable must be shortened and extended from the shortest possible 
distance (5m roadside). The loop resistance of the overall cable must not exceed 5 

Ω!

For example, extension of 100 m with a 0.5 mm² cable of 73.2 

Ω/km loop resistance and 

parallel connection of 4 cores each: 
Per core 100 m cable results in a loop resistance of 7.3 

Ω. 

By parallel connection of 4 cores results in a loop resistance of 7.3 

Ω / 4 = 1.83 Ω
