Fan status lights
On Stinger chassis manufactured before late 2005, two fan status lights are located on
the rear of the chassis, on the right and above the holes of the air exhaust vent. These
lights indicate the operating status of the fans as described in Table 3-3.
Stinger chassis manufactured since late 2005 have a replaceable fan tray with a single
status light on the lower left side of the front cover. This light indicates the operating
status of the fans as described in

Once the hardware installation is complete and the Stinger unit is powered up, you
can begin basic configuration as described in the following chapters, or download a
previous software configuration.
