Use the following table to determine the TID of the replacement
SYSCTL and the source of the select provisionable parameters that
are available while the SYSCTL is in the factory-fresh state. The first

Notes:
1.
Select parameters (if provisioned) are uploaded from the OC-N Main OLIUs or retained from a previous
shelf while the SYSCTL is in the factory-fresh state: IP provisioning (for example, IP addresses, TCP/IP
gateway), DCC provisioning (termination state: enabled or disabled, and LAPD role: user-side or
network-side), and OSI provisioning (enabled or disabled).
2.
While factory-fresh, the TCP/IP host list is set to 255.255.255 (wildcard). After the generic is downloaded
and applied and the NE resets, the TCP/IP host provisioning is uploaded from the OC-N Main OLIUs. Do
NOT attempt to change existing IP provisioning (for example, enabling TCP/IP on LAN-1 that was
previously disabled, or modifying an IP address). Changing IP provisioning will cause the NE to reset.
Upon reset, the IP provisioning is again uploaded from the OC-N Main OLIUs, therefore over-writing the
new IP provisioning.
