Introduction
This chapter discusses procedures that you use to operate and maintain FAX
Attendant on a regular basis. These procedures include:

Starting the voice system
The voice system starts automatically when the UNIX system
boots. At other times, you must specifically start the voice
system.

Stopping the voice system
There are specific steps that you should follow to stop the
voice system to properly save any administered information
and to avoid cutting off calls in progress.
