EC fan motors with 0-10V speed regulation
High speed setting
The “High speed” setting provides the maxi-
mum fan speed according to datasheet. This is
achieved when a jumper connects the +10 V
output of the fan motor to the inlet signal (see
electrical scheme).
If continuous rpm modulation is needed, the
jumper should be removed and replaced by an
external signal (between 0 and 10 V max). The
jumper connection can be made in the connec-
tion box or inside each fan motor’s “black box”.
Low speed setting
The “Low speed” setting provides the reduced
fan speed according to datasheet. This is
achieved with a resistance kit reducing the steer-
ing signal from 10 V to 6.7 V. The fan will oper-
ate at a fixed rpm value.
If continuous rpm modulation is needed, the
resistance kit should be removed and replaced
by an external signal (between 0 and 6.7 V
max).
This resistance kit is located inside the connec-
tion box (if selected) or inside each fan motor’s
“black box”.
