Fitting:
The battery ground should be disconnected before working on electric wiring and switches!
Remove handlebar controls, clutch and brake cylinder assy, then remove the original clip-ons.
Assure that the front wheel is free from any load when dismounting top yoke!
(At R1M additionally remove plugs from forks)
Slide Match Clamps over the slide tube and reinstall the top yoke.
To fix top yoke, first tighten steering head nut up to 15Nm / 11lbf ft, then fix the slider tube’s
clamping bolts with recommended torque.
Now tighten steering head nut up to the required torque, tightening torques refer to the vehicle
manufacturer’s instruction

(At R1M additionally connect plugs from forks)
Slide match clamps underneath the top yoke and align
them provisonally and tighten them slightly. Now install
the tubes with M6x22 and tighten these bolts with 10Nm
(7.31lbf ft).
Now you should check the clearance to the tank,
therefore you have to mount all controls provisonally
on the clip-on
.
Tighten the bolts of the Speed Match clamps M6x25
with 10Nm.
Now drill the bores for the controls and fix them finally.
The left grip should be installed with glue.
Instruction for rerouting cables hoses and wiring harnesses:
Throttle cable :
remaining as original

Check easy movement during full steering left & right.
Brake line :
remaining as original

Clutch Cable:
(760Y079J): As original routing - just outside the cable guide on the steering head.
To mount the clutch cable disassemble / assemble the right fairing.
Wiring Harness :
remaining as original.
Make sure that no cable, hose or harness is bended and stays tension-free over the whole steering
angle.
Connect the battery to the ground of your vehicle.
The Speed-Match kit is now completely mounted. Always check local laws and your
manufacturer’s warranty conditions for using aftermarket parts on your bike!
