#406 Medevac II Litter
WARNING: THIS LITTER SHOULD ONLY BE USED BY PERSONS WITH SUFFICIENT
OPERATIONAL AND MEDICAL PROPER PATIENT HANDLING.
STOWING:
W hen l itter is not i n use the proper stowage proced ures shoul d be taken:
1.
Secur e restrai nt strapped across the li tter wi th mi nimal sl ack, see Fi gure 1
2.
Veri fy fl otati on is secured to the fram e.
3.
Di sassem bl e li tter by turni ng coupl ers counter-cl ock-wi se, see fi gure 2
4.
Stack the secti ons of the li tters on top of each other, feet and l eg secti on on the bottom.
5.
If practi cal store to avoi d prol ong exposure to di rect sunli ght.
6. Recommended:
Use #408 Li tter Cov er whi l e stow ed to protect from unnecessary and uni ntenti onal exposure and
dam ages, see Fi gure 2. Zi pper shoul d be full y cl osed duri ng stowage.
INSPECTION
Every 30 days, and after each use, carefull y i nspect the foll owi ng:
1.
Fram e assem bl y for broken wel ds, bends (deform ation), corrosi on and abrasi on.
2.
Check fl oat covers, fl oats, the pl astic net l i ner, hardware, and restrai nt straps for cuts, tears, abrasi on and any
other vi si bl e dam age. Repai r or repl ace as requi red.
Rem ove Li tter from servi ce i f i nspecti on i denti fi es any dam age or abnorm al condi ti ons i ndi cated above. Repai r or
repl ace accordi ngly.
